Image upload rejected?
Find out why. Fix it.
Paste an upload error, inspect the original image and check which technical requirements do not match. File Doctor suggests corrections and verifies the output, directly in your browser.
1. Choose your original image
Get format, file size, pixel dimensions, resolution in megapixels and extension automatically.
2. Paste the requirements
Examples: “JPEG, 600x600 px, maximum 240 KB” or “minimum 1200x1200, PNG or JPG, under 2MB”. You can also enter settings manually.
3. Review output settings
Why an image upload can fail
Typical causes include mismatched extension/format, dimensions that are too small or too large, excess file size, and the wrong image aspect ratio. File Doctor compares measurable properties and allows you to adjust the output before downloading.
For example, an original 771 × 1080 JPEG can be cropped to exactly 600 × 600 pixels and compressed below a specified KB limit when possible. Cropping may cut content; increasing pixel count does not create authentic detail.
