How PASSFILE works
The file is processed locally in your browser. For images, PASS checks the actual output format, pixel dimensions and file size. If a strict size limit cannot be met, PASSFILE reports that instead of claiming success. A PASS does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
Privacy by design
Your selected files are not uploaded to PASSFILE servers. Merging or extracting PDFs loads a third-party JavaScript library over the network; use only with documents you are comfortable processing in the browser. Avoid extremely large or confidential documents while the service is in beta.
Choose the right tool
Upload a file above or choose a focused tool below. Image processing happens on your device; some PDF actions require loading a browser library, but your document content stays on your device.
When should you resize an image?
Online forms sometimes require exact pixel dimensions or a specific file-size ceiling. Set both the width and height to crop or fit the image. Leave them blank when you only want to convert or compress.
What does “PASS” mean?
PASS means the downloaded file was verified against the dimensions, type and size you selected. It does not mean a third-party portal will necessarily approve the content, crop or identity-photo rules.
