Choose two or more PDFs · Max 30 MB each
Page numbering starts at 1. Pages appear in the specified order.
How PASSFILE works
The file is processed locally in your browser. For images, PASS checks the actual output format, pixel dimensions and file size. If a strict size limit cannot be met, PASSFILE reports that instead of claiming success. A PASS does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
Privacy by design
Your selected files are not uploaded to PASSFILE servers. Merging or extracting PDFs loads a third-party JavaScript library over the network; use only with documents you are comfortable processing in the browser. Avoid extremely large or confidential documents while the service is in beta.
Convert PNG to JPEG
Choose your PNG, keep JPG selected and leave width and height empty. Click Make it fit, then download the exported JPG.
What happens to transparent regions?
JPG does not support transparency. PASSFILE composites transparent pixels over the background color you choose. White is the default; black is available as an alternative.
When should I keep PNG instead?
PNG is often preferable for diagrams, images with transparent backgrounds and text-heavy screenshots. JPG is usually more space-efficient for photographs but may blur sharp text edges.
