Max 25 MB · Images are never uploaded

Leave either width or height blank to keep the original aspect ratio. Two filled dimensions use the selected resize method.

How PASSFILE works

The file is processed locally in your browser. For images, PASS checks the actual output format, pixel dimensions and file size. If a strict size limit cannot be met, PASSFILE reports that instead of claiming success. A PASS does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.

Privacy by design

Your selected files are not uploaded to PASSFILE servers. Merging or extracting PDFs loads a third-party JavaScript library over the network; use only with documents you are comfortable processing in the browser. Avoid extremely large or confidential documents while the service is in beta.

How to meet a 100 KB file limit

Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP and leave dimensions empty to keep the original size. PASSFILE searches for a compressed JPEG at or below 100 KB. It reports clearly if the file cannot meet the limit.

Should I choose JPG or WebP?

JPEG is widely accepted by older upload forms; WebP may provide a smaller file at similar visual quality but is not accepted everywhere. Choose the format required by your destination website.

Will details be lost?

Yes, lossy compression discards some image information. Enlarging or repeatedly recompressing a small image will not restore detail. Always inspect text, faces and edges after downloading.
