How PASSFILE works
The file is processed locally in your browser. For images, PASS checks the actual output format, pixel dimensions and file size. If a strict size limit cannot be met, PASSFILE reports that instead of claiming success. A PASS does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
Privacy by design
Your selected files are not uploaded to PASSFILE servers. Merging or extracting PDFs loads a third-party JavaScript library over the network; use only with documents you are comfortable processing in the browser. Avoid extremely large or confidential documents while the service is in beta.
How to merge PDFs
Upload at least two PDFs. They are combined in the order shown in the file list. Download the result and check the page sequence before sending it anywhere.
Will the original PDF quality change?
PASSFILE copies pages into a new PDF rather than converting the pages into images. However, certain advanced forms, annotations, signatures or encrypted files may not survive unchanged or may not be supported.
How many files can I combine?
This beta limits operations to 25 source files, 150 MB in total and 250 PDF pages. Some browsers may require more memory for larger documents.
