How PASSFILE works
The file is processed locally in your browser. For images, PASS checks the actual output format, pixel dimensions and file size. If a strict size limit cannot be met, PASSFILE reports that instead of claiming success. A PASS does not guarantee acceptance by an external portal.
Privacy by design
Your selected files are not uploaded to PASSFILE servers. Merging or extracting PDFs loads a third-party JavaScript library over the network; use only with documents you are comfortable processing in the browser. Avoid extremely large or confidential documents while the service is in beta.
How 600 × 600 resizing works
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP, keep 600 × 600 in the size fields, then press Make it fit. PASSFILE reads the dimensions of the exported file before showing the download.
Crop, contain or stretch?
Crop to fill trims the sides of a portrait or the top and bottom of a landscape image while preserving proportions. Fit whole image includes the whole original with margins. Stretch can distort the subject and is generally not recommended.
Is 600 × 600 suitable for an official photo?
Not automatically. Some applications specify head position, plain backgrounds, recent photographs or other criteria that this tool cannot verify. Check the official rules before submitting.
